Green Magic

It is my first tie-dye clothes, and its effect is pretty good. What I use is food dye powder. After making it, I need to put it in a fresh-keeping bag for 8 hours and wait for the color to be dyed better.

Color Mixing

This T-shirt is use tie-dye, I use a different tie-dye method, so the effect is different. I squeeze the two colors on the dyed fabric evenly.

Bamboo

My inspiration comes from the Chinese bamboo culture. When people see bamboo, they naturally think of its indomitable character, not afraid of adversity and hardships. It is also the unique aesthetic value of bamboo, so I plan to use bamboo elements in my garments design.

Kapok

It is my first handmade embroidery work, and I spent a lot of time on this work. But the overall result is pretty good. I used 3 different embroidery methods to make this embroidery. They are spider web rose embroidery, contour embroidery, and satin embroidery.

Lucky Fish

My inspiration comes from a small fish in my home, it always lives freely, so I present it through embroidery. About this Lucy fish, it is composed of various embroidery techniques. I mainly used embroidered cloth, sequins, Indian silk, rice beads, etc.

Marine Protection

This work mainly conveys the importance of marine protection, so I presented the current problems of different ocean pollution through different materials and forms and called on people to protect the marine environment.

Golden Clouds

The material is White Merino wool roving, orange wool blened yarn and beige linen warp string. I use plain weave+Rya weave+basket weave. My inspiration comes from the sunset in Savannah.

Pink Clouds

The material is Pink Merino Wool Roving, blue wool blend yarn and Beige Linen Warp String. My inspiration come from the sky of Savannah, so I decided to make it.

Blue & Yellow Sky

The material is blue wool blended yarn, yellow wool blended yarn and beige linen warp string. This is a plain weave, my inspiration comes from the sky of Savannah.

Colorful Enamel

The primary materials used in this enamel work are copper sheets and toner of different colors formed by multiple baking.

Silver Flower Necklace

My inspiration comes from flowers, I think flowers always symbolize beautiful meaning, so I just made this silver flower necklace, which mainly uses silver and a small green mini stone.

Dreamy Jellyfish

My inspiration comes from jellyfish, and I think jellyfish is a very dreamy sea creature. So I made this jellyfish soft sculpture work. I mainly used pure cotton and some beads and organza and other fabrics. Besides, I also embroidered on organza through different embroidery techniques to highlight the dream and beauty of jellyfish.

Pear

For this Sculpey Work, I chose pear as my character, My Chinese name is called Yali, and I have had the nickname of pear since I was a child. Because in my Chinese name, Yali and Pear are homophobic. Therefore I regard this pear like me, and the two wings will take me to follow my dream. I used the foam board as my creature base for the materials, and I inserted some baby's breath on the top. The baby's breath gives me a sense of purity and beauty, so I decided to put them together.

Butterfly Falling

My inspiration came from that one day when I was walking around the garden in downtown, a butterfly
happened to fall on my shoes, which gave me a lot of inspiration. The shape of the shoes was inspired by Alexander Macqueen this brand,
because it is one of my favorites brands. For the materials, I used three different cardboard and hot glue gun to glue them.
